Cole Wandler, Principal Investigator
Mr. Wandler received his M.A. in Anthropology from Northern Arizona University in 2011. He has fifteen years of experience working on Section 106 projects throughout the Northwestern and High Plains. In addition to archaeology, Mr. Wandler also researches western history. His most recent work can be found in Montana: The Magazine of Western History.

Samuel Yeates, Principal Investigator
Mr. Yeates received his M.S. in Anthropology from Utah State University in 2019. He has over nine years of experience working on large Section 106 projects throughout Montana, North Dakota, Wyoming, Nevada, and Iowa. Mr. Yeates provides our team with significant expertise in zooarchaeology and in the prehistory of the High Plains.

Colby Carmin, B.A. Field Director
Colby Carmin is a qualified archaeologist/Field Crew Lead with over two years of experience in the historic resource and anthropological research field. Colby holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Wyoming. Colby has experience in Cultural Resource Management (CRM) having served as field crew lead and field technician on CRM projects across Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Montana. Mr. Carmin has had the opportunity to conduct Phase One, Phase Two, and/or Phase Three archaeological investigations at 11 project areas and one advanced field school. Mr. Carmin possesses knowledge in Midwestern historic and prehistoric archaeology and has gained expertise in field methods over the last three years through hands-on and academic experiences. Colby has had the opportunity to participate in many different types of survey projects, including land use, fuels management, and road surveys. Through these opportunities, Colby has achieved proficient knowledge and experience necessary for producing excellent field data and high-quality technical reports.
